Late June in Yellowstone National Park is a magical time with young animals everywhere. That's where I saw this group of bison. It was a hot day and these three were headed to a muddy hole to get a drink and cool off. The striking reds of the youngster were an interesting contrast with the surrounding grasses and darker colors of the adults.
